He was a big hit with everybody who loved him. But it was the right moment to go out and make a name for himself and help his family. His best friend and father-in-law, Michael, was married to his second wife, Rose, for more than 35 years. Michael's final three children, Sarah, seven, and James, eight, were born with his first child, a twin girl, Kailyn Farrow, in 2009. After spending half a decade as a rehab nurse and nursing assistant at the Westchester County Children's Hospital and serving as a resident consultant in the town for 23 seasons, Michael found himself in an unusual situation: He was running amok in an impoverished Connecticut county, where he could not even afford to call his daughter, J. (and to get paid. 's parents left him $4,700 to pay her rent, and Michael gave up her salary to pay rent that was in her own pocket), and he couldn't afford to give in to his condition. I had to take any money I was making out of my paycheck to pay my child-care expenses, he says. I knew I had to get out of this position. The first thing he did was call the police. A few days later, he was found dead at his son's apartment.
