Four officers, who have security camera footage, were arrested in connection with the attack on an unidentified man in St Clair and Waverley Park, around 8pm. The men, aged 42, 43, 46 and 56, were being treated in hospital, with the woman accused of stealing a laptop from their Mercedes. Footage showed the pair taking up arms, and the two men then throwing the items at the police officer before turning their backs on her, witnesses said. The pair then drove off in a different car while another police dog was at the scene. She was brought to hospital without further injuries and placed in a critical condition at The South Bank Hospital on Monday. The group then made their way to another vehicle, while police on foot were at the scene in a car with the other cars on the edge of Adelaide Highway.
